The soil salinity, water, organic matter content, soil compaction degree, texture structure, etc. all affect the soil conductivity change to varying degrees. By measuring soil conductivity, it can provide an important basis for analyzing yield, evaluating soil productivity, and formulating precise fertilization prescriptions. The traditional sample sampling survey is not only time-consuming and laborious, but also because the sampling density is too low to truly reflect its temporal and spatial changes. For large-scale surveys, the vehicle-mounted soil conductivity measurement system is undoubtedly the best choice.
On July 3, 2018, our company engineers rushed to the Nanpi Ecological Agriculture Experimental Station of the Institute of Genetics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to debug and install the VERIS 3100 vehicle-mounted soil conductivity measurement system and put it into use.
The Nanpi Ecological Agriculture Experimental Station of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was founded in 1982. In 1986, it was prepared to build a station on the basis of the task of low-yield field management in the Huanghuaihai Plain. It was officially established on June 1, 1987, and joined the Chinese Academy of Sciences Farming Ecological Station Alliance in 2013. . The research direction of the experimental station is mainly aimed at the problem of sustainable agricultural development in the region, which is limited by the shortage of fresh water resources and soil salinization. The agricultural ecosystem and environmental monitoring in the Bohai Sea are the basic tasks, and the research on the efficient use of water and soil resources is the main direction, with modern agriculture. The technical integration demonstration construction is the key development goal, and the theoretical system and empirical model of agricultural ecosystem management and modern agricultural construction in the water-salted and salinized areas are explored.
