1 Introduction to the program
ThermoInspector is an automated inspection system for thermal monitoring, analysis and evaluation. It can be used for industrial control, security, quality control monitoring and process monitoring and control in materials (such as plastics, metals, etc.), biological and chemical processes, and related manufacturing industries, such as welding, heating, cooling, forging, biological fermentation, etc. Thermal information is measured, recorded and evaluated in real time and used in conjunction with existing machine control systems and PLCs.
The ThermoInspector system includes a central processing unit that supports up to four cameras. All cameras use a high sensitivity (better than 0.03 ° C) infrared thermal sensor with a temperature measurement range of +2000 ° C. Because of these extraordinary characteristics, it can continuously measure and evaluate the thermal field of the surface of the product under test, whether it is plastic, metal or biological materials. Therefore, the system can check thermal characteristics, such as thermal gradients, maximum or minimum temperatures, and evaluate the dispersion of temperature along the thermal profile to check the rate of temperature rise in the selected area.
Each ThermoInspector system supports multi-camera thermal radiation measurement, camera control, palette settings, temperature range settings, and other additional features. Users can choose different resolution cameras: 640 × 512, 336 × 256, 160 × 128, or choose different focal length lenses.

3.2 Passive central controller
The ThermoInspector central controller uses a passive controller version to save size and cost, and uses the same performance and interface as the touch screen type. Users can use the Full HD LCD display with keyboard for system configuration integration. The passive controller with a size of only 26 x 22 x 8 cm is the world's smallest multi-lens thermal imaging monitoring system.
4 system control
4.1 Real-time imaging
ThermoInspector automatically detects all infrared cameras. Users can set different palette colors, isotherms, artificial temperature ranges or change the camera's temperature range. An intuitive graphical interface makes it easy to check user configuration and system integrity. Operators can select different types of measurement tools (points, lines, rectangles, circles, etc.) and check real-time data streams and values.
4.2 Image Evaluation
The ThermoInspector system displays all the required data and information directly on the screen during the monitoring run. From real-time radiation flow (up to 4 cameras), including setup analysis for each ROI (region of interest), to time maps, temperature profiles, and digital indicators to inform operators.
4.3 Alarm and rule settings
In actual production, operators should be able to set up different analytical methods to cover a wide range of industrial applications. ThermoInspector offers a variety of measurement tools with locally configurable emissivity, and operators can define statistical labels such as maximum, minimum, average, difference and median. When the setting conditions are broken, the system displays an alarm and outputs a digital signal to the PLC.
Thanks to the user-friendly and configurable environment, the ThermoInspector can be up and running in a short time. The system includes hundreds of installed features that can be used for any type of application, and as such, integration does not require any additional algorithms to be written.
