In an interview with this reporter, Wang Xiaoyu, deputy secretary-general of the Heilongjiang Soybean Association, said that relevant revitalization measures may soon be introduced.

According to Wang Xiaoyu, since the large-scale suspension of soybean production in Heilongjiang in February, the government’s measures to support the Chinese soybean industry have been systematically carried out, including the soybean reserve policy and the strict restrictions imposed on imported soybean oil in April. .

The operating rate has not seen any obvious improvement. “Up to now, the soybean industry in Heilongjiang has still not shown signs of improvement,” Wang Xiaoyu told reporters. “According to preliminary statistics, only 20% or 30% of soybean enterprises are started.”

As the main production area of ​​soybean in China, Heilongjiang Province accounts for nearly half of the country's soybean production, and there are more than 100 soybean crushing companies in the country. In the first half of this year, there was a large-scale production stoppage in oil companies that mainly processed domestic soybeans, and almost 60% of the soybean processing enterprises in Heilongjiang Province stopped production.

According to industry insiders, the increasing number of imported soybeans in China and their low prices are the root causes of the impact on domestic soybean crushing companies. In addition, the recent purchase of soybeans is not smooth, and the new season soybeans are only listed at the end of the month, which is also the main reason why the company's start-up situation has not improved.

Supporting the domestic processing enterprises for the impact of imported soybeans and foreign grain companies, the revitalization of China's soybean industry is imminent. As for the revitalization measures, Wang Xiaoyu believes that “repairing the soybean industry chain and supporting domestic soybean processing companies are the key”.

Wang Xiaoyu pointed out that repairing China's soybean industry chain is the key to strengthening and strengthening a group of domestic enterprises and establishing a complete and independent industrial chain so as to promote the sound development of the industry and resist external shocks.

In recent days, the northern part of Heilongjiang Province has experienced initial frost, Wang Xiaoyu said, this will not threaten soybean production. “This year's Heilongjiang soybean production will certainly be higher than last year.”
