Chairman of Huada Gene said that it is a shame for employees to have birth defects in their newborns.

“We don’t allow birth defects in our employees. If there are birth defects, it’s a shame for 7,000 people.”

On Monday, Wang Jian, chairman of Huada Gene, said in the "China International Big Data Industry Expo" in Guizhou that the definition of genes in the Chinese gene is very clear, called "100+", meaning "100 years old is not capped."

In order to achieve the goal, Huada Gene has established three major disciplines for employees: employees' newborns are not allowed to have birth defects, if there is "disgrace", it means "showing that we are ignoring society"; patients are not allowed to have tumors later than hospitals. "Do not allow stents, do not allow (heart) bypass surgery, can not die from cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases."

Huada Gene was originally established in 1999 by Beijing Huada Gene Research Center. It is a bioinformatics related company such as genetic testing, and is engaged in genetic testing and disease screening. Huada Gene was listed on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2017. The current total market value is 59.5 billion yuan. It is on the GEM with LeTV, and its market value ranks seventh.

Wang Jian emphasized the importance of genetic health to human society. He said that currently 1400 newborns in Huada's genetic workers do not have a known severe birth defect. "If you can't do it when you are born, you will never be able to do it forever."

In order to keep employees healthy, Wang Jian also said that the company intelligently changed the food for everyone in the cafeteria and also turned off the elevator.

This is not the first time that Wang Jian has made similar remarks. He has publicly stated on several occasions including CCTV's "Opening a Lecture" that genes are completely controllable and predictable. Everyone can live for a hundred years and live to be 120 or even longer.

For this problem, Huada Gene seems to have no consensus on its own. When Wang Jian said that he was 100 years old, Yin Wei, executive director of Huada Gene, said at an event that the average life expectancy of 100 years "will of course bring a series of problems", thinking that people "cannot put more money and Focus on the last year of life, what we should care about is how to stay healthy during normal times."

Wang Jian did not explain that there would be any punishment if a child had a genetic defect.

The relatively short-term failure of the newborn is probably traced back to Nazi Germany.

In 1939, Hitler established the "Scientific Treatment Committee for Severe Genetic Diseases" to eradicate defective newborns, and the program was extended to adults.

Others may have to go to science fiction films. For example, in the 1997 science fiction film "Millennium", the talents born through genetic engineering processing are normal, and natural childbirth is regarded as abnormal.

This is a typical eugenic point of view. It advocates the use of unnatural or artificial means to improve genetics. It advocates the discipline that controls the evolution of a particular population, hopes to remove bad genes, and create perfect and excellent babies to improve the overall quality of the population.
