As the latest high-precision sensor from IMKO, the TRIME PICO series has great advantages in terms of accuracy and portability. In addition, PICO series sensors have multiple calibration curves built in, which can be selected according to the customer's soil measurement to improve the accuracy of soil measurement. These calibration curves are obtained by the manufacturer taking soil samples from the world and performing actual measurements. This configuration greatly improves the user's usability and portability.
The calibration curve built into the PICO series is shown below:
The chart contains 15 calibration curves, but not all curves are suitable for soil measurements.
♦ Cal.1---Universal Soil, Vol. For standard (ordinary) soils with a soil density of 1.4 kg/dm 3 .
♦ Cal.2---low density soil (1.1kg/dm3). Suitable for low-density soil, less than or equal to 1.1kg/dm 3 .
♦ Cal.3---High density soil (1.7kg/dm3). Suitable for high density soil, greater than or equal to 1.7kg/dm 3 .
♦ Cal.4---Dielectric coefficient. Suitable for users who need to obtain soil dielectric constant.
♦ Cal.14---Peat (for PICO64 probe). Suitable for measurement of peat soil (density 0.45kg/dm 3 , generally used in greenhouses)
♦ Cal.15---1/10tp (for PICO64 probes). For users who need to get the tp value. The Tp value is the TDR transmission time.
