Takahashi Yinfeng
Hunan Tea Research Institute was formerly known as the Hunan Tea Experiment Station and was established in 1932 (21st year of the Republic of China). At that time, more than 100 acres of mountainous land were purchased in Gaoqiao, Changsha County. The tea ceremony in Hunan Province was set up in Gaoqiao, which was divided by Yi Jinzhi. Subsequently, Changsha Tea Factory established the Takahashi Factory. In December 1951, the Gaoqiao demonstration tea plantation and the Gaoqiao primary plant were submitted to the Provincial Agriculture and Forestry Department, and the Hunan Provincial Agriculture and Forestry Department Gaoqiao Tea Plant was established to conduct tea planting, tea promotion and testing. In 1954, it expanded the experimental work of tea and transferred the experimental work of the Anhua Tea Plant and the main scientific and technical personnel to this field. In April 1955, it was formally named the Hunan Gaoqiao Tea Experiment Station and changed its name to Hunan Tea Test in 1961. Station, in October 1975, was rebuilt as Hunan Tea Research Institute.
In January 1996, the institute moved to the Mapo Ridge Base in Furong District, Changsha City, Hunan Province Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The original site of Takahashi was changed to the experimental teahouse of the institute. The existing tea garden area is 800 mu.
Takahashi Yinfeng is a famous green tea tea successfully created by the experts of the Hunan Tea Research Institute after many years of research and the special contribution to the 10th anniversary of the National Day of the People's Republic of China in 1959. It is also the earliest newly established tea in Hunan Province after the founding of New China.
