1, according to the natural flowering time classification

According to the research results of the National Chrysanthemum Category Classification Symposium held in Shanghai by the China Horticultural Society, the large chrysanthemums in Qiu Ju were divided into 5 types of petals, 30 patterns, and 13 subtypes. 5 flaps: flat flaps, spoon flaps, tube flaps, cinnamon flaps, and deformed flaps.

Flat flaps: ray flowers spread flat, and the base tube is shorter than 1/3 of the full length.

Spoon type: The ray tube is 2/3 of the flap length.

Valve type: ray tubular, apex as open, shorter than 1/3 of flower length.

Guizhi type: Less rayed flowers, irregular at the tip of cylindrical flower.

Types of malformation: The apex of the valve is dehisced into a flap or a flap with a trichome.
