In winter, the weather is cold, and the working conditions of agricultural vehicles are deteriorating. If the cooling water is used improperly, it is easy to damage the body. Therefore, the winter water for agricultural vehicles should pay attention to the following matters.
1. Don't rush to put water after the agricultural vehicle is finished. In winter, the temperature is low, the outdoor temperature is generally about 0°C, and the temperature in the north will be lower. After the agricultural vehicle is completed, the cooling water will be discharged if the flame is turned off. At this time, the temperature of the body is as high as about 90°C. Excessive speed causes cracking of tanks, engine parts, cylinder heads, etc. The correct method is to allow the engine to idle for 5 to 6 minutes. After the temperature of the standby body drops to 50°C to 60°C, the cooling water is discharged.
2. Do not start the fire and add cold water. After the agricultural vehicle starts, the temperature of the engine body rises sharply and the instantaneous temperature of the combustion chamber can reach more than 100°C. If cold water is suddenly added to the water tank at this time, cracks may easily occur in the cylinder head cover and the vortex chamber insert of the engine due to rapid cooling, and the piston, the connecting rod, and the like may also be deformed. The correct method is to fill the tank with 80°C hot water before starting.
3 pay attention to observe the release of water when you put the water. Long-term use of agricultural vehicles, scale, impurities, etc. are easily deposited in the water switch, causing the switch to block, resulting in cooling water is not exhausted, causing the engine to crack. Therefore, when the agricultural vehicle is used for water discharge in winter, the operator should carefully observe the water discharge situation at the side of the machine. If the water flow is not smooth, the drain switch should be opened to allow the cooling water in the body to be fully discharged.
4. After the water is released, crank the crankshaft several times to drain the water. When large and medium-sized agricultural vehicles turn on the water release switch, they often cannot exhaust the cooling water in the water tank. A part of the cooling water remains in the water channel, and there is still the possibility of freezing the body. Therefore, after releasing the cooling water in the water tank in winter, it is necessary to crank the crankshaft several times to drain the water in the water channel.
