In order to explore Guangxi's winter and summer anti-season sweet corn planting techniques and realize the idea of ​​supply of sweet corn for the first time, at the same time, in order to find a new fulcrum for farmers in Qianxian County, the development of the sweet corn industry in Jingxi is being promoted. In the summer of 2011, I conducted a comparative test on the yield of different seasons of sweet corn in different summer sowing seasons. The experimental results are summarized as follows:
1, materials and methods
1.1 Test varieties: Nongtian 88
1.2 Test site: The test site was set in a paddy field in a new farmer's household in Nongfu Village, Minqiang Village, Huayu Township, Jingxi County. The experimental plot had medium fertility and uniform fertility.
1.3 Climatic conditions: From early May to early July, with the arrival of summer, rainfall gradually increased, especially from mid-June to early July heavy rains; after mid-July, high-temperature, high-humidity and strong light began to appear, rainfall The number of rainfalls and the number of rainfalls has gradually decreased, especially from mid-August to mid-September.
1.4 Seedling raising methods: Nursery seedlings are planted on a plastic floppy disk with a length of 66cm, a width of 33cm and a spot of 100 points, and 3-4 leaves are transplanted at a suitable time.
1.5 Test method: It is divided into 6 communities, each cell area is 122m, and the outer protection line is set. The random block arrangement is used for transplanting and planting. Sowing and transplanting are carried out 6 times, at intervals of 7-12 days, ie 6 different sowing dates are respectively (month/day): 5/14, 5/19, 6/2, 6/17, 6/29, 7 /8.
1.6 Cultivation Management
1.6.1 Seedling period: First, finish the seedbed with enough water, fill the plate with the nursery substrate, and then select the single seeds for seed germination. After 2-3 days sowing, water is poured every morning and evening, and watering and spraying of pesticides are performed depending on the seedling growth.
1.6.2 Daejeon period
1.6.2.1 Preparation before transplanting: Rigidly sew along well-designed specifications, apply furrows in the middle of the ridge, apply Stanley high-concentration compound fertilizer 60 kg + 1 pack of superphosphate per acre, and lightly rake and rake. Spray the mound noodles with dinosaurus and acetochlor, cover the mulch, and set up the field side ditch and gutter.
1.6.2.2 Transplanting: Select strong seedlings at the age of 3-4 leaves for transplanting with a transplanter, and use the bull potassium nitrate to fill the roots with water at the rate of 5 kg per mu.
1.6.2.3 Field Management
Seedling stage: After transplanting, they are treated with fish protein, Dupont principia, and dichlorvos to prevent corn borer and other pests.
Jointing period: During the seedling stage, 15 kg of urea per acre and 7.5 kg of potash fertilizer are applied. Spraying of anthrone and Dubang Kangkuan to control aphids and so on.
Large bell-mouth period and heading period: Combine irrigation or rainwater ditch with 10 kg of urea and 5 kg of potash fertilizer, and use a diuretic horse and Du Bangkang to spray the pests.
Others: Manage the actual situation. When drought occurs, appropriate amount of water will be poured. When there is a lot of rainwater, the drainage will be drained in time to keep the water in the ditch and remove the tiller in time.
1.6.2.4 Timely harvesting: timely harvesting at the best harvesting time, generally 18-20 days after silking.
1.7 Test observation
According to the observation method of corn seedlings, fixed point and fixed plant were observed to record growth period and leaf age, and the yield was measured at the time of maturity.
3, test summary
From the beginning of May to the middle of June, the amount of rainfall and rainfall was moderate, and the weather conditions were relatively good. In the middle of June to the beginning of July, the rainfall gradually increased and increased. After mid-July, it began to show the weather conditions of high temperature and high humidity. The number of rains also decreased. At the same time, due to the influence of the market economy, the sweet corn prices listed from the beginning of July to the end of September are more optimistic and stable. Therefore, in order to achieve better economic benefits, the sweet corn should be planted from early May to mid-June.
In a hydroponic system, plants are placed in nutrient-enriched water. Mediums such as gravels, sand or vermiculite can also be used. Thus plants which are placed in the water absorb the nutrients very easly. When the nutrients from the water starts finishing , water is recycled or additional nutrients are added.
