After the air enters the hydraulic brake system

When the air enters the hydraulic brake system of the agricultural transport vehicle, since the air is compressible, it is difficult to increase the pressure of the brake fluid when the brake pedal is depressed, thereby greatly reducing the braking efficiency. Therefore, once the air enters the hydraulic brake system, it must be completely eliminated in time. 1. Judgment method If the driver feels softness and weakness after depressing the brake pedal, there is a clear rebound reaction, and when the vehicle cannot be stopped, the air in the hydraulic brake system enters. 2. When excluding the air in the order of exclusion, the principle of “first away from the near, first from the top and then from top to bottom” should be followed. That is, starting from the farthest wheel from the master cylinder, press the “right rear wheel — left rear wheel — right front wheel — - The left front wheel goes in the order. However, for a hydraulic brake system equipped with a vacuum booster, the purge valve closest to the master pump on the vacuum booster should be opened first, and then the remote purge valve and each of the manifold pumps should be opened one by one. Air valve. 3. Excluding the method To exclude air, the dust and dirt from the main pump filling port and the discharge valve of the branch pump should be removed first. Then add enough brake fluid to the master pump reservoir and depress the brake pedal continuously to allow the brake fluid to fully enter the slave pump. In addition, a hose having a length of about 300 mm, a diameter d of 6 mm, and a cup of brake fluid (preferably transparent) should be prepared. Follow these steps when troubleshooting. (1) 2 persons take off the dust cover (rubber cap) on the air release valve of the sub-pump, fit a hose with a suitable length, and insert the lower end of the hose into a cup containing no more than half a cup of brake fluid (this prevents Brake fluid contaminates the surrounding parts and facilitates the recovery of brake fluid.) (2) A person in the cab quickly depresses and slowly relaxes the brake pedal, repeated several times, until the pedal once more than once, there is a greater sense of resistance when pressed (the so-called "hard"). When you are struggling (still need to step hard, and stay at this height, do not relax), and another person under the car, the valve on the pump to relax 1/2 lap ~ 3/4 ring. At this point, it can be seen that some of the brake fluid entrained with the bubble flows out of the hose, and the pedal gradually falls. When the pedal is stepped to the end, quickly tighten the bleed valve. Note: Do not relax the pedal until the bleed valve is tightened. Otherwise, the air will enter the hydraulic system again. (3) Repeat the above method until the brake fluid in the hose is free of air bubbles. (4) In the same way, discharge the air from other wheel brakes in a certain order. (5) After exhausting the air in each wheel brake, remove the hose and put on the dust cover. Fill the brake pump reservoir with brake fluid so that the distance from the liquid level to the upper edge of the filling port is 15mm. 20mm. 4. Precautions (1) Brake fluid should be added to the main pump reservoir at any time before and during the air discharge to prevent the brake fluid from flowing into the air. (2) The two persons in the car or under the car must cooperate closely. (3) After replacing the brake fluid with a new one, the air in the brake system must be drained.
